I believe this wrench was a part of the original Willys MB Ford GP / GPW Military Jeeps, and the 2 1/2 ton CCKW / DUKW, and other military vehicles as the WC.
I believe the military part numbers were; Federal stock # 41-W-991, the Willis # A-596, and the Ford was GP-17043.
The wrench is the black ox finish, and is stamped on one side in the center
