Very unique article on the design with 11 individual illustrations showing various parts of this institutional button, conceived by Nottingham Lunatic Asylum Superintendent Dr. Powell and additions to the design by Dr. Cox of Fishponds Asylum near Bristol, as he found that some "ingenious patients" were able to unfasten the original style.
