    Description

The Fraisse laboratory, founded in 1899, led by Marius Fraisse, who first commercialized sodium
cacodylate in ampoules. In 1920, giving up the retail trade, the laboratory moved to 8 rue du Jasmin
in large premises where some forty workers prepared ampoules of various products, among which
were nebrosthenic and ferruginous serum [containing strychnine!], As well as cacodylate
Iodine-hydragic [mercurial derivative used in the treatment of syphilis] ...
The medical emergency bag presented here was distributed to physicians to popularize
the use of injectable ampoules. Contains 8 ampoules. Here is the list of products: ether,
cocaine, sparteine, ergotinine, camphor oil, caffeine, morphine.
In perfect state. In museums and collections it is present, but never in the conditions offered here.
For unknown reasons, although the product is (SEDOL-Morphine / scopolamine-according to the
pharmacopoeia of the time), the Morphine label does not appear in this lot (perhaps due to
    regulations in some countries).
The aluminum case with minimal signs of age opens into two sections to extract the injectables,
which are separated by textile bands to prevent breakage.
The advertising messages and printed recommendations in perfect condition but a little wavy.
An icon of medicine from the beginning of the century to display, collect or give away.
    Closed 11,5x8x2cm.
