Description
This heavy and well-crafted medical device comes in its original fitted mahogany case.A gold stamped leather label affixed to the lid's velvet lining identifies the manufacturer or retailer as: "John Richardson & Co. Manufacturing Chemists Leicester Limited". It appears to be brass and steel[?] and produced during the last quarter of the 19th century.
Box is 12" x 5 1/4" x 2 1/2" high.
Condition:
Might be missing a small piece of tubing given that there is an extra 1 1/2" space in the fitted case. Some wear and spotting to finish. Case has a few scratches. Generally good condition.
