Description
20 Antique Porcelain Invalid or Infant Feeders Pots and Roman Trulla . From an estate auction and sold in as found condition, see photos. First three are flow blue and the larger one is marked Made in Japan, Next 2 are marked Made in Germany . the smaller one with a green circle and the other with a black circle . Then comes the group of three with the Red Cross pot which is unmarked, the round flat handled one also unmarked and the metal reproduction by Gorham for Horizon, marked Metropolitan Museum Art and is a copy of an ancient Roman Trulla. Next group of four has the pot with the golden colored wheat and signed on side ( we think C.Costans or Costansio) with number 3617, then the white floral and the pink pot which are unmarked and the Side Handled pot with reddish numbers 606717. Photo 11 shows 3 pots, a side handle with a # mark with a dot inside in blue, An orange floral with several markings C2 incised and in gold lettering 0823 and a 3 and a Aladin Genie shaped pot which has a stress fracture but will still display well and we do not thing the fracture goes thru most of the inside but mostly on outside of item . Last five are all unmarked, the one at the top of the photo is much heavier ironstone or porcelain and the one on bottom of photo which has a design around the opening has crazing. These invalid/infant feeders are a one persons collection and we decided to sell as one lot. They are in good vintage condition with the visible damage we noted and we are selling as is and as found with no guarantees or warranties and no returns for any reason and shipped with insurance so look at all photos and ask any questions before bidding.
