925 Sterling Silver Weighted Rod of Asclepius Medical Doctor Nurse Paperweight
An antique piece, shows sign of usage, but no significant damage that I can see, check pics.  Some marks and nicks though.
A sterling silver paperweight, featuring a medical rod of Asclepius. (Do I need to explain that the caduceus is not the snake-medical symbol, but it's a mistake everyone makes, it's really the Ascelpius staff?  Interesting history behind it if you'd like to learn more.)
It's about the size and shape, perhaps intentionally, of a hockey puck.  Hockey pucks are 3"x1", this is about 2.75" by .67" (72x17mm).  Pucks weigh between five and a half to six ounces, this weighs 5 avoirdupois ounces, 141.3 grams.
Hallmarked 925 in an oval on the back, I'm not sure which maker that was, but I'd assume that it's sterling silver with a weighted piece inside.
