Kerr Sterling Silver Art Nouveau Cherub Watch Pin/ Locket Holder... (I have shared some details from the net in case you would like to know more about this famous house and their extraordinary jewelry) Details of pin portray a sweet cherubic face framed by outstretched wings...In back is Kerr Oval with Hallmark, STERLING and (design no.) 176. Pin measures just shy of 1 1/2" W x 3/4" H and has a weight of 2.8 grams. On reverse is a hook for your locket, watch or fob and a tiny hole that allowed the wax to escape during the creating process. All original unpolished estate condition... Kerr's hallmark was a single axe with rods bound with straps. They used this trademark of a medieval axe from 1855 -1892. Other hallmarks include a hammer, and three "X" marks. William B. Kerr & Co.
