    tunning hand painted split handled pitcher by Royal Chelsea Pottery, Burslim England. T
    his is a beautiful vase, with soft, muted colors and raised painting.  Outlined in heavy gold gilding. Very unique design to the top with the ribbed spout and twisted split handle. This pitcher is quite large, standing 8 1/2" tall. Exceptional condition for it's age. Looks like the beginning of a crack on the lip, it does not go through the ceramic.  Has some crazing. Gold gilding has very little wear.
