Description

A fantastic example of an early antique articulated prosthetic leg. With a wooden frame, leather outer,  iron detailing & threaded leather strap work. Beautifully worn by time with a truly stunning patina.
Between 1870 and WW1.
Wear commensurate with age, good solid condition showing numerous pleasing signs of age.
It is made from one piece of wood and inside you can noticed all those carvings made by hand.
On the feet, there's still a shoe and the sole.
By my opinion some screws on the feet are not original
.
Ankle doesn't move but the toe joint does.
Leg comes with the stand.
