An estate found,
vintage early twentieth century 10K solid yellow gold lingerie or baby pin with a row of white cultured seed pearls
, offered with no reserve and a low opening bid!
It measures 15/16” long x 1/8” high x 1/4” deep across the pin bar and weighs 1 gram.
The back is marked
10K
, see close-up. (Nice quality – the top is slightly convex and the clasp has a moveable hoop/bale-type safety which protects the point of the pin when closed).
Condition:
this is a pre-owned antique/vintage 10K seed pearl beauty pin that has been gently worn; the patina of the gold is shiny, the pearls are white with good nacre the pin bar is straight and the catch & safety both work properly.
