Video Aerial Systems is proud to announce our latest design, the Airblade Antenna Set. After nearly 8 months of R&D it is finally ready!
Above you will see the antenna and radiation pattern. The Airblade Antenna Set is Left Hand Circular Polarized and boasts a Gain of 1.52dbic and an incredible axial ratio of 0.79. The Airblade is a slight improvement over the MadMushroom from our very Popular Bluebeam Ultra line. This however does not make the MadMushroom obsolete. You can now easily put multiple pilots in the air simultaneously using the same Frequency Band, eg. One pilot using a set of Bluebeam Ultras on 1280MHz and another using a set of Airblades on 1258MHz. We have tested this and seen as much as an additional 10db of separation between conflicting channels! No more not being able to fly with friends because they are on the same band.
