Eye Lens Cap / Cover for the M22 Series Binoculars
These were obtained brand new from military surplus. These are the eyepiece protective covers for the M22 military issued binoculars. They are black rubber / plastic, and are brand new and sealed directly from the military. The eyelens cover part number is 12950939 and the NSN (military part number) is 6650-01-367-8916. This is the exact issued part for the Fujinon (Fuji) as well as the Steiner models. I also found several references to them being used with the M24 series. Please see photos below:
Update: I have had several questions on compatibility with other types of military binoculars, and the sizes are usually similar, making them compatible with multiple other types and brands. The dimensions of this cover are roughly 1 3/4" by 4 1/4" (1.75" x 4.25"). These are lightly flexible, so if your dimensions are close to these measurements, these covers should fit.
