Description

New old stock in the original packaging 1950s US military recoil oil fluid gun.  This is very similar to a standard grease gun but has some added features such as the glass sight gauge on the side, and is capable of holding oil which has higher viscosity than regular grease.  These guns were generally used on artillery pieces and the main gun on tanks such as the Sherman tank.. the guns had an oil filled recoil buffer.  I don't see any reason this couldn't be used with grease if you swapped out the hose for one with a zerk fitting.  It's a pretty nice tool as well and they are in mint condition in the original packaging for the early 1950s!
