Up for Auction is a Wonderful Extremely Rare Signed Antique 1890's Art Nouveau Era Sterling Silver & Diamond Paste Brooch Bar Pin!
ca. 1890's-1900's
Just cannot go wrong with this Rare One of a kind original Vintage Antique Signed 1890's Art Nouveau Era Sterling Silver & Diamond Paste Brooch Bar pin!
The Estate pin's face and frame
is 2.7 inches in Diameter long by .50 inches wide with simply stunning Art Deco/Nouveau Solid Sterling Silver filigree metal work around the nearly 40 round cut white Diamond Glass gemstone!
All clasps are in great working condition and the clasp was most likely replace from a C clasps to a more modern and safer clasp many years ago!
Note the Amazing Hand work all along the solid Sterling silver frame.
The Entire Brooch pin is hand tooled and Simply Stunning Example of this remarkable American Craftsmanship!
The solid piece weighs 8.5 grams.
The entire length of the Estate pin is hand tooled and has "Sterling" and the Manufactures Hallmarks on the Reverse! (Note images)
It retains the Original Unpolished Patina!
Circa 1890's-1900's and a very Early & Scarce Example of fine original "
Art Nouveau"
craftsmanship!
The condition is near perfect for it's age though needs a good cleaning!
