This lot is a WWII era US Navy MK12-1 torpedo gyroscope in the original Bakelite stand that was used to hold it in the shipping process. Serial numbered 52091. It spins very easily and you can see the precision work. It is extremely heavy. Has some discoloration from time that may clean but we are leaving it as found. Brass base and made of precision stainless steel. The Bakelite stand shows minor wear. 4 1/2” wide by 4 1/4” tall for the gyro. The stand is 5” diam and 3 3/4” tall. Free Shipping.
