Arts & Crafts Movement Chrysoprase and Moonstone, Sterling Silver Gold Wash Brooch (Pendant) Designed by Sybil Dunlop
A beautiful brooch designed by a Member of the Guild of Arts & Crafts (1880-1935).
Signature silver gold wash with four cabochon teardrop green Chrysoprase (1/2 inch by 5/16 inch) and a cabochon moonstone (3/16 inch) by Sybil Dunlop (deceased 1968), circa 1930s.
The Chrysoprase are backed by matching teardrop silver segments. The design is open enough to make it able to be worn as a necklace as shown (chain not included).
Henry Wilson, Bernard Instone, Archibald Knox and Dorrie Nossiter were famous for creating well designed and well made art deco and arts and crafts pieces.
Measures 1 1/2 inches diameter (3.81 cm). No hallmark or any markings of any kind. Excellent condition with no repairs. The stones are extremely clean with no scratches or “flea bites”.
