Description
A quite rare example of the innovative Negassek’s pewter enema, pattented in Paris in 1808 for 15 years, so datable between 1808 and 1823.The present example is perfectly preserved, without damage or any restoration. It is signed “Negassek inventeur breveté &” and “Paris” with his hallmark.
The small curved plate under the syringue was for more confort placed on the edges of the buttocks or perineum and the patients only had to go up and down to activate the pump.
Rare model of a private hygiene syringue or enema.
