Welcome

Thank You for Shopping In the USA!
A great original doctor's Prohibition Liquor Prescription stub for Wine (rare)...1 qt (quart)....For two weeks, Zi AC! This stub was open to inspection by federal officers! Please see photo!
From the days of Al Capone, flappers and moonshine this was the only legal way to drink liquor in the US!
The wine was prescribed for Mrs. John Derby, of Glen Falls, NY, by Dr. J. L. Byrnes, of Hudson Falls, NY, on August 8, 1933.
It was issued by the Treasury Department, when held to the light, INDUSTRIAL ALCOHOL is partially watermarked. Printed in red ink is: "This stub must be clearly and legibly written, and must not be detached from the book".
The prescription stub measures 4 1/2" by 3" and is in excellent condition...a great ditty from the Prohibition!
This is a fantastic piece of history and would be great to display in a pharmacy, doctor's office, museum, bar or office!
